solving radicals is my worst problem. Can any one assist me understand it? I am a novice at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for beginning this subject?

I have been in your situation some time agowhen I was learning solving radicals. What part of equivalent fractions and long division poses more problems ? Because I think that what you really need is a good software to help you understand the basic concepts and methods of solving the exercises. Did you ever try a software like that? I have tried a few but I have to say that Algebrator is the best and the easiest to use. It's not like those other programs because it teaches you how to think , it doesn't just give you the solutions.

My parents could not afford my college fees, so I had to work in the evening, after my classes. Solving equations at the end of the day seemed to be impossible for me at those times. A colleague introduced Algebrator to me and since then I never had any problem solving my questions .

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Remedial Algebra, Remedial Algebra and College Algebra. It is a really a great piece of math software. I remember of going through problems with graphing, trigonometry and angle suplements. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
