I am going to college now. As math has always been my weakness, I purchased the course material in advance. I am plan on learning a couple of chapters before the classes begin . Any kind of help would be highly appreciated that could aid me to start studying algebra +software myself.
I have a way out for you and it might just prove to be a better one than buying a new textbook. Try Algebrator, it covers a pretty comprehensive list of mathematical topics and is highly recommended. It’ll help you solve various types of questions and it’ll also address all your enquiries as to how it came up with a particular solution . I tried it when I was having difficulty solving questions based on algebra +software and I really enjoyed using it.

I fully agree with what was just said . Algebrator has always come to my rescue, be it a homework or be it my preparation for the midterm exams, Algebrator has always helped me do well in algebra. It particularly helped me on topics like quadratic formula, factoring and roots. I would highly recommend this software.
Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Algebra 2 and Intermediate algebra. It is a truly a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with converting fractions, radical inequalities and side-angle-side similarity. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
